Add new employee in 9.0.1 without BSI?

Our organization was acquired by a much larger one and they moved our HR / Payroll / Benefits to their non-Lawson system. Since we were no longer using Lawson for payroll or benefits we discontinued our BSI support and, per the contract, had their application removed from our Lawson system. However - someone in our HR department uses Lawson to keep track of any sort of training or classes our employees take here on site. (The new org's system makes that extremely difficult, hence the desire to use Lawson for that.)

However, with BSI removed from our Lawson system, when HR goes to enter a new employee they get an error and the LID crashes out to an error message because BSI is not there, and the system expects to find it there to check the person's home address. Is there a way to add employees into our Lawson HR without having BSI?
