Employee Auto Numbering issue

I'm not able to get the automatic employee numbering function to work.  Company HR00 is set to "Y" for automatic employee numbering.  Data Item Attributes HR10.1 Employee Required field is blank as Lawson's website states however I can't get Employee HR11 to auto number a new employee.

Are you leaving the employee number blank on HR11?
Do you get an error message?

If you just changed those settings (i.e. HR00 or HR10), you probably need to reload HR11 into memory:

> tmcontrol -rp productline HR11

Thank you for your help. I'm a new user and found that I was not entering enough employee information into the system for it to accept the new employee which was causing my problem.
