Enforce Data Entry PA52

Is there a way to enforce data entry on PA52.1? My users have to enter 1 date and one status on a certain transaction and they continually forget to enter the date, which gums up a process flow.

HR10 can be set to indicate the field must be updated via a PA and that the field is Required. That should solve your problem.

You might want to test because I thought that HR10 will require a value if a field is empty but if it is already populated I did not think it would require that PA52 updates it to a new value.

You could use design studio to enforce data edits conditionally based on the action, or if it is appropriate, force a value for all fields that are available in the action.
