Has anyone built an HR data mart based on the Lawson tool set? We are interested in possibly building our own by extracting data from Lawson into a SQL Server cube and using Microsoft BI tools... has anyone taken this approach?

What platform/version of Lawson applications are you running?
Are you considering using Lawson's Analytics tools, or building the extractions yourself?

we are on version 8.0.3 - we are evaluating using the Lawson analytical tools vs. developing our own extracts/ cubes and reports using the Microsoft toolset (SQL Server, Reporting Services, ProClarity, etc.) - can you provide some pros/ cons?

That makes it easy then--Lawson's tools in 8.0.3 don't work with MSOLAP for building the HR datamarts--just Essbase.
