Hello
Can anyone tell me how you are securing the User Fields (one or many) on the User Fields tab on HR11? I want to secure just a few. I don't see user fields on HR10 to do that.
THanks for your help,
Roger

Roger, are you using LAUA or 9.0 security?

I'll be interested in any responses, too - I was under the impression it was all or none (not what you want to hear, I know, Roger!). They're stored on the HR04 screens, and there isn't ability to secure fields like you can on HR10 using levels

I have not used this, but remember this from some training many years back, (help text from the HR04.5 screen)
Type a value of 1-9, to define the security level of the user field. The highest level of security is 1. If you leave the field blank, 9 defaults.
To be able to access the field for personnel actions, employee inquiry, and HR Writer features, a user's field security defined in HR09 (Field Level Security) must be equal to or less than the security level defined for the field. See the Human Resources user guide for more information on security.

Yes thanks for the reminder...
The data is stored on HRUSERFLDS (the field # and the sec level), you can write rules in LS which compares the level with that of the user's level in HRSECLEV.
