We use Lawson payroll and Kronos for time and attendence we are looking at implementing positions within Lawson. Does anyone currently interface Kronos with Lawson that uses positions?

we do by parsing out the postion codes to match labor levels in KRONOS and then rejoining them for the interface back to Lawson.

so the position code itself is not a labor level in kronos?

It is not. We already had established LLs in KRONOS prior to using positions in Lawson so our positon codes are configured to contain PL + accounting Unit + job family + status. We transfer by LLs at the clock so that if a nurse changes from ED to CCU, that LL is changed by the nurse and when rejoined and sent to Lawson, the time is appropriately charged to CCU instead of the ED due to the set up of the position code in Lawson.
