Lp service codes and Reason codes

We are in the process of building LP, our team has had some disagreements on naming conventions with the reason codes, and service codes.  Anyone willing to share some examples of what they have done?

Hi Michelle! It's been a long time...

I just implemented LP at a client and would be willing to share some ideas regarding naming conventions. We implemented an Hours Based plan and we had to be very careful/organized because everything is tied together with pay codes. Send me an email to jbonin@ishinc.com.

We maintained the exact same naming conventions between service codes and pay codes. Reason codes were not very different although I would do that differently looking back. One example: different reason code for PTO (paid time off) usage versus term pay out versus cash in. We also have different codes for PTO and PTOsick. I would probably give those service codes different reason codes.
