Hi all,
Hoping the forum can assist with this issue. I'm encountering an error when I try to reverse a termination that was keyed in PA52 and activated by the PA100. Here's the scoop:
The employee termed on 6/25/2008. On 9/15/2011 a mass upload was performed to PA52 to change job codes, and his record was included in that update. Then, a termination PA was keyed on his record effective 9/13/13, but it was intended for another employee's record. I need to reverse the 9/13/13 termination entry.
I tried reversing the change via PA52 Special Processing - Process Type: Reverse an Action, but that's when I encounter the error: “Term date must be >= max pos level 01 effect date 09/15/11”
I found KB article #1195440, which suggested I could edit the PA13 record to reverse the change. However, I'm not able to see any data in the PA13 - no matter what effective date I enter I'm getting a "Pos level does not exist for effective date" message. (I do see data when I run the PA213.)
I know this is a bizarre one - does anyone have any advice on how I can correct this?

Something similar happened in our organization. This was a few years ago, so there might be a better way to resolve now, but ...our Lawson Security Admin folks in IT had to go behind the scenes in Lid and actually delete the record by using the Paint Screen Utility. There should be some articles about how to create a paint screen on the Knowledge Base.

Thanks Ja'Tia! We're on the AS400/iSeries platform, which doesn't support Paint Screens, but your tip led me to find the iSeries equivalent that did the trick.
