Hi all, I recently joined a NGO in DC and we have Lawson S3. I am trying to find a report either within Lawson, or through Query add-ins that can give me point in time data. I need to look at salaries for all staff who were active from 1/1/17 to 12/31/18. I'd also like to include hours worked as a field if possible. Anybody have experience with this?

Not sure if there is a canned report.
The hours worked is fairly simple, just use the table PRTIME, SUM(HOURS) filtered by TR_DATE in the desired range summarized by employee.
The other is more complicated. You will need to use the table HRHISTORY (to see active status) and PRRATEHIST (to see salary) at any point in time based on EFFECTIVE_DATE. Don;t forget that the salary could have changed many times during the date range. Also, employee could have been termed/rehired and other change in status. You are probably looking for a custom report using 4GL/SQL/IPA or something.

Thanks Ragu! I got as far as setting up the PRTIME report - how can I adjust it so that it reads the total per employee on each line? Right now i'm seeing an exhaustive list for hours worked on each day for one employee, and then a total at the bottom.

Are you using Add-ins? Once the data is in excel, use the Subtotal function?

Hi, yes I'm in add ins and did try the subtotal within the Query wizard itself. The data only appeared for one employee, I am looking for total hours worked for all active staff in 2017 and 2018 (this is for the EEO-1 component 2 data requirement).

If you're trying to do this for the new EEO-1 reporting requirement, Lawson/Infor has a new patch available that provides this capability.
