On Lawson Systemi Release 9.0.0 MSP#5 when Payroll users submit PR160 the system generates the following:
Object link . . . . . : /law9/law/lawapp9/work/PMTOUT
Content of Link . . . : /QSYS.LIB/LAWPGM9.LIB/PMTOUT.FILE/BF04113605.MBR SYMLNK->MBR
Object link Type
PMTOUT SYMLNK->MBR
Physical file LAWPGM9/PMTOUT.PMTOUT
Conversely On Lawson Systemi Release 9.0.1 MSP#5 when Payroll users submit PR160 the system generates the following:
Hard Links /law9/law/lawapp9/work/PMTOUT
Object link Type
PMTOUT STMF
This change has created a problem since the data from /QSYS.LIB/LAWPGM9.LIB/PMTOUT.FILE/BF04113605.MBR & LAWPGM9/PMTOUT.PMTOUT is used to create payroll checks.
Is there a way to regenerate the member, physical file LAWPGM9/PMTOUT.PMTOUT in release 9.0.1?
Is there a workaround or some tool we could use that would put the PMTOUT file back into an AS400 library in release 9.0.1?
Any assistance you can provide on this subject will be appreciated.
Thank you
