There are likely two sets of issues you may run into:
- XML errors because the user doesn't have the MSXML components and patches installed. See Lawson KB Article 102044.
- Popups are blocked by default in IE6 (and MSS/ESS make rampant use of them). You should instruct your users to set your site as a "trusted site" and enable popups.

We've addressed the popup and trusted site issues. The problem is with approximately 20% of IE users attempting to access SS from outside our firewall. They receive the following error:
***********************************
Line 91
Char:9
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
Code: 0
URL:
https://emss....
***********************************
Using Firefox, they can access SS.
Apparently this is a known Microsoft issue, some unknown downloaded software corrupts the Windows scripting engine and the fix is to reinstall the OS. Our IT HelpDesk will not suppport reinstalling OS for home PCs-duh, and since IE is our 'standard', may not reccommend installing an alternate browser.
Thanks,
Leslie

I have experienced the same symptom and so far have been successful in addressing it by a combination of both:
(1) Applying the latest windowsupdate patches, followed by
(2) Installing the patch file msxml4sp2-kb887606-x86-enu.exe (referenced in Lawson KB Article 102044 and Microsoft article 887606).
