We are looking to implement the supervisor/reports to structure in Lawson. Currently we have no org structure defined that can be uploaded and are manually pulling the org reporting structure together.

Would appreciate talking with someone (especially in healthcare) that has implemented this already. Interested in technical aspects and process issues.

How did you define your supervisor codes?
Did you define reporting to the lowest level individual contributor?
How did you handle people in multiple positions?
What process do you use to maintain the reporting structure when people hire, term, transfer, change positions, etc.?

Did you receive an answer about handling multiple positions? we have not used the supervisor code structure because of this.

Sheila, why did the multiple positions keep you from doing the supervisor structure. We are not using multiple positions but do have the supervisor structure. I think the position just picks up the supervisor in the main position settings and then again in the second position? I would like to know where the problem is so that I will know (if when) I am asked to assign associates to two positions.
