TA170 Time Accrual Prtime limits

Has anyone tried raising the numeric values in TA170WS from 4 to 5? (for 99999) ?

KB 557873  For employees with over 10,000 prtime records,
So far we have one employee forcing  TA170 into Needs Recovery with error 153 Subscript out of range,

We have payroll coming up Monday and may hit others... any ideas on workarounds?
Other than Purging....  We only have 9 yrs of data... :)

Looks quite straight forward. We have not had this type of issue and we have about 7 years of data without purging. We looked at moving data around to different Product Lines when we experienced a system slow down. Might be an option to copy the product line and then purge from your production system.... Just an idea to consider.

Purging is still your best option - but the subscript out of range is indicative of table size issues. Try the change from '4' to '5' on your test platform first. Best guess is that the change will work correctly - then you can still get payroll run correctly while you review your purge options - which, unfortunately, need to pass muster of legal, etc.
