Where are PR140 Deductions Before Payroll Closes

When PR140 runs in report mode in what table are the deductions stored before payroll closes. After it closes I do know they are stored in paydeductn.

I think it's actually a function of the 'Report only' flag on PR140.
If that flag is Y (report only), then nothing is stored.
If that flag is N (update mode), then records are stored in PAYDEDUCTN and when the payroll is closed the status changes on PAYMASTR.
