Congrats on posting!

We recently applied ESP 10.0.11 and during testing, one of our custom cobol programs would not compile clean. It gives this error log:

Compiled on lawdev

Building COBOL Shell

Processing PgmInfo Request ...
bismark  CSVRMC PR SV529
Processing /lawdev/lawson/law/csvrmc/prsrc/SV529.rpt
mFLDS Hit Max 1000
PrcRPT(): Errors Encountered In 'rptgen -t'
/lawdev/lawson/gen/bin/bismark: Error Encountered In Execution
/lawdev/lawson/gen/bin/lawbsh: Error Encountered In Execution

Based on the error, you’ve hit the “hard” max in report fields.
Why you’re just now hitting it, I can’t say without looking at the code, but I have observed that in the past 10 years, they have been cleaning code up, and enforcing the m-limits more rigorously, starting with the or/sr files.

Unless there’s a rpt.cfg option to ignore, increase, or override this limit, you’ll have the change the code. It’s possible this option is hidden/undocumented.

You were right. The ESP that we installed enforced the "rule" even though it had been there for a while. I modified the program to get under the 1000. Thanks!

I'm trying to change the position of a current employee and when I'm on the pay screen of HR11.1 I am receiving an error message "Max total FTE per employee is 2.000000-showing 3.000000. What does this mean and how do I fix it?
