Hi

We are going live with Env upgrade to LSF9 in a week and wondering what steps we need to take to ensure clean data for ProcessFlow conversion. There is a worry about inbasket items and other PF data not coming over to LSF9.

Any insight is appreciated !!

Thanks
SK

Ideally you would want to close out all workunits prior to your LSF9 migration, and "start fresh" in LSF9. If that's not possible, the LSF9 migration scripts will bring everything over, but you will need to do some work to clean it up. What types of flows are you using PF with?

Thank you. We are mainly concerned with ProcessFlows with inbasket approvals. I was told that the conversion may not bring over all the inasket items.

We had this problem in December 2007 when we migrated to 9.0.  What I did was unrelease the reqs in RQ13 and re-released them in RQ10 to push them through the flows again at go-live.  Some approvers had to approve the same req again but it worked.  I think our problem was the LOGAN copy wasn't fresh.  Not really sure.  Seems like a lifetime ago.
