I am trying to setup a backup administrator but keep getting the user does not have Process Flow Administrative privileges. In LSF9 user has SuperAdminRole and has Process Flow role, setup same as myself. In LID he is sysadmin again same setup as myself. In PF Admin his user profile is the same as mine. He can run flows locally no problem but when we try to run the flow on the server he gets the privilege error. The PF Config file does has only the lawson user in it so my id is not there. What am I missing. Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Willie, the user has to be defined in the Lawson Process Flow Administration module (/bpm) and assigned to a processFlow administrative task. Are you familiar with the /bpm admin tools?

John, I have him setup in /bpm/menu.do as PFIAdmin and PF Admin, same as myself. Is this where you mean or am I missing something.

Thanks.

We don't use PFI/IPA or whatever they happen to be calling it this week yet, but In training, I remember that the Workflow user in LSA needed to be set to a 1. Is this still the case?

There is also a required setting on the users RMID. I can't remember what it is called and I'm not in the office now. Compare to your RMID settings.

Workflow User is a 1 in both cases, RM Object appears identical.

Thanks

The RMID setting I think is required is Access=Y.

I recently had issue with RM records adding them to PFAdmin. For example jsmith is not the same as JSmith in the PFAdmin tool even in a Windows shop. It must be setup exactly as seen in AD, LSF, and PFADMIN... (JSmith, JSmith and JSmith)... you get the point.
