Congrats on posting!

Trying to find out if anyone's configured SSO so that *some* users have the option to Change Password in Portal and some do not. I enabled password change in ssoconfig and it appears in portal for all users. But I received a request to allow it only for some users and not others. I thought about changing the portal role file,....

Any ideas?

That is one way that you could accomplish what you are being requested to do.

Did you mean to (or attempt to) post an attachment or script?

No, John... although I did "think" about doing so. We actually use a perl script to modify a SunOne LDAP server to do our password changes and not the ssoconfig implementation. If you'd like to see it, I "may" be able to show it to you without violating any copyrights or other sensitive data information. I'd have to ask first.

Would anyone like to see that?

I have just done the Portal role thing...use 1 for actual lawson users and another for ESS only users (which is restricted.)
