Hello,

I was wondering if anyone else have written their own scripts, or have developed a method of taking Lawson's custom EM and fax files and integrating them in to their own network for sending email or faxes.

ie. $Lawdir\\Email\*

I am just curious to what other companies are doing in order to parse these files and then email/fax them out to clients / users / etc. The Lawson fax integrator is out of the question.

Thanks for any advice you can give us.

Why not use Lawson's Fax Integrator?  I works for us.

JimY: Are you using the FaxIntegrator to do emails? I'd be interested in how that is setup.

Hi Greg,
We do for a few vendors.  We set the issue method to I and put the email address on the PO10 record.  I have the directory $LAWDIR/prod_line/email/out set up.  PO120 would have to be set up to select emails.  I leave the path name blank to default to the above directory.  We have PO120 set up to run every 15 minutes to pick up any Fax and Email PO's.  I don't have access to Fax Integrator at the moment or I would give you the set up for that also.  If I get a chance I will check it out and post here.  Probably next week.  Thank you.

I'm going to recommend opening a new thread. This one is five years old, and your question doesn't relate to the content of this thread.
