Congrats on posting!

I'm not sure if this is a result of LUU.

We cannot run commands like %LAWDIR%\*scr\*.err

or *tar

Is this a result of LUU and is there a way around this?

Thank you

Are you doing if from Lid or from the Windows command prompt. If from the windows command prompt you have to set the environment variables first. I have also found that with Windows the *tar does not work.

It is in lid that it won't work, and getting the same response from windows.

can't seem to do the %lawdir%\*SRC\*.err either

I do have the env variables set.

Oh can you do webdir in the env files in windows?  Someone said no.

Which Unix subsystem are you using for LUU?
Make sure you have it's binaries as well as LUU in the PATH, either from laconfig or in the PATH environment variable in Windows | Control Panel | System | Properties.
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!

Congrats on posting!

for windows 2008.

what do you mean 'its binaries' luu is in the path.

I have it in the env window but not in the enter.cmd

oh can I put webdir in the enter.cmd and the env window, someone told me no because it is windows.  I thought that to be odd but...

a long time since I have worked on windows.
