I am trying to run the Lawson Security smoke test on a new build. I am getting the following message when I sign in through the SSO, in fact as long as I use a valid userid any password will produce it:

-
Could not convert LSF Identity (null) to LM Identity.

Has anyone any experience of this error message? As part of the build I have loaded LDAP data exported from another environment...could that be the cause, if so any pointers as to where to start looking?

Thanks

RJ

Redo your build without loading the external LDAP data and see if you can pass the smoke test?
Did you make a backup of your LDAP instance before loading?
Can you manually create a new user via LSA and see if you can sign in?

I will give the empty build a try and see what happens
This is a fresh build from scratch based on an existing environment so as it has never run correctly yet there is no LDAP backup, but I do have the original LDAP export.
I can't get into LSA yet...it gives a message Lawson SSO Server Connection Failure

I have now resolved this problem.

It was due to an incorrect setting for LDAPPASSWORD in $LAWDIR/system/install.cfg

I corrected that, stopped and started lawson and all is working properly

Thanks for your time
