I would like to take a large text-based report from an AR/ADT system and send it through LBI for breaking apart to different recipients much like a bursted Lawson back-office report.
The catch is this report is not tagged and is from a foreign system. I'm having trouble determining if Crystal Reports server can do this. If so, does the one from Lawson do this?
I'm desparately trying to consolidate report viewing to one portal, the Lawson LBI portal. Originally I was interested in Ascend but we landed on LBI.
Any thoughts?

Yes and no.
Reporting Services can burst a "text" based report however it has to be "well-formed" in an XML format. For more details see Chapter 5 - Bursting a Report in the Reporting Services user guide.
However, if I were you Id look to create Crystal Report that makes and OLE DB connection to the specified text file. You can then burst the Crystal Report without any further set up.
