Hi,
how can i prevent that the LAWSONRS_CurrentUser parameter can be changed on refresh report.
Is it possible to disable the refresh button (something like GroupTree=False)
thx, Richard

Hi Richard,
In theory this special parameter is not passed to the viewer for security purposes.
Where did you create that parameter, in Crystal?
I had written an article about this a while back:

Hi Will,
we do it exactly like you described it in your article...
It works fine, but if the user make a refresh data in the viewer the LAWSONRS_CurrentUser Parameter is empty and can be edited.

Under the Maintain Parameters screen, do you have access to the CurrentUser parameter configuration (i.e. can it be clicked)?

If the report is published on an LBI dashboard, I have the Data Settings screen set to use a default user and password. Since we want to control when the reports are refreshed, under default permissions I remove the ability for users to refresh reports.
