When using Crystal reports:

1. Does an advanced report developer build reports through the web or through a client/desktop tool?

2. Can a business user/analyst perform ad-hoc analysis and create basic reports through the web or through a client/desktop tool?

3. How do the answers to # 1 and 2 change (if at all) when you use Crystal as a part of LBI?

1. The report developer uses a Windows application--Crystal reports.
2. Same; although there are some limited ways in which you can layer selection criteria via web.

So licensing LBI means all report development must be done using desktop Crystal reports which are deployed to the web on the LBI server?
