Hello

I seem to recall that you can point previously-created .dme's to different product lines so you don't have to recreate them. Any idea about how to do this?

Also, I also vaguely recall that you can create a .dme and use that as the basis for a Crystal report. We're running Crystal XI off of LSF on SQL Server 2005. For some reason, I thought that you could cut and paste it but can't for the life of me remember how to do that.

Thanks.

- Change the product line via the PROD= parameter in the DME query string.

- You can paste the DME query into the Crystal report by connecting via OLEDB/ADO and selecting the 'OLE DB Connector for Lawson Object Services'. When you get connected, and select 'Add Command' you should be able to access the Query Builder. If you don't see the Query Builder, you may be missing a registry setting (see https://www.lawsonguru.co...Crystal-Reports.aspx for more details).
Thanks for using the LawsonGuru.com forums!
