Bulk Order Purchase

We have a particular item that we receive a discount on if we purchase in bulk order.  Currently this item is set-up with a Lawson number and the pricing is if it is not purchased in bulk. Is it possible to set this item up with a UOM as bulk or can anyone share their practice with me?  Currently any bulk orders are requested as a special.  Thank you

You can set up a UOM conversion on IC11 for the bulk UOM you are using so when you do buy the item it will come into inventory with the correct EA, BX, etc. UOM. You should be able to add a single item PO25 Contract for the bulk UOM to default the cost too.

I agree with David. Ensure the bulk UOM is defined on the IC11. Another option on the po25 is to use Tier pricing if the price break will vary based on the size of the bulk purchase.
