We want to implement mobile store rooms / warehouse on our vehicles. Anyone done this with Lawson? Any pointers? How would we restock from our main warehouse to these mobile storerooms? Would we need to setup a location for each vehicle on IC02? Thanks for any feedback.

Would these mobile store rooms act like a Par or Perpetual Inventory Location?
If these trucks had the same products on it then it could very easily work as a par location by truck. Count the pars and replenish.
If it is perpetual then you would do transfers or issues to the mobile location is what it sounds like.

If you want to keep the items on your vehicle as assets then you would have to build a location for each in IC02 and then add the items to IC12 for each IC02 record just as you would for a fixed location. Our home care buyer and I were talking about this a little while ago. We were thinking of making each medical equipment van a perpetual location and the driver would enter the equipment used in TIMS and an interface to Lawson would decrement from the vehicle inventory. For replenishment from the main storeroom you would set IC12.2 to pull from the main storeroom location (Company and Location) as opposed to a vendor. On the Reorder tab in IC12 set the Reorder Document to either X for an Intransit Transfer or T for a Direct Transfer. I would use the direct method so you don't have to mess around with intransit receiving. You run IC141 (Location Replenishment Report) to create the transfer document (sorted by bin location).
