We are using the 9190G and have 10 months to go on our 3 year service contract. We are quickly seeing more and more guns with issues:
trigger not functional
screen jumping
IP address dropping randomly
cracked screens (three different guns!)
and sometimes just not picking up the wireless signal
I'm curious as to what everyone else is using and what issues you've seen AND when in the lifecycle did you see them. We had trigger issues very early on and then about a year of clear sailing. The past 6 months have been brutal though - we seem to have guns out for service all the time.
We like the 9190G model because it has both numerical and alpha keys on the keypad and you don't have to switch between modes.
Your thoughts?
Thanks!
Michelle

We went live on MSCM July 2007 and started using the Dolphin 9550 with which we had a lot of issues including some of what you described above. By November 2011 we had enough and switched to the Motorola MC75A. It's been a little more than 2 years and we've had very few issues. I can safely say that I've had to troubleshoot less than a dozen times for all 25 devices. The only issues I've seen are the screen freezing up and loss of wireless signal. And a device reboot was all it took to fix it.

We went live with MSCM a few months ago and use the Motorolla MC55. They are reliable units and work well. We do drop network connections occasionally, but other than that, no other issues.
