Has anyone had any success in manipulating the default delivery date in po 20 by using po10.2 and/or ic12? We are trying to auto-release more purchase orders, but we find many vendors will see the defaulted date and automatically expedite product in. I don't want our freight costs to skyrocket.

We had the same issue when we first implemented. Manipulating the lead time in IC12 should work for you. We also add a 5 day lead time to nonstock items in the par locs since most of our supplies are ordered there.

We had a similar issue. What we do is have different PO100 jobs setup depending on what day it is (Monday & Tuesday are one job), (Wednesday, Thursday are one job).
We were having issues not only with the vendors taking it literally but with the buyers having past due POs that hadn't even been ordered yet. We get our main distributor the next day, but the replenishment is run the night before. Therefore, an order generated Monday evening for ordering on Tuesday had a PO due date .. of Tuesday.
