Has anyone implemented 9.0 Apps & Security at the same time?

I' posted the last post to that thread, and will follow up with this statement: No matter if you do Apps/LSSecurity together or as a seperate project, get the Apps 9.0 in, before you do the Security, or you will have rework to do.

That's the first problem. Check Network, SQL Server Aliases in the Client, etc....

Kwane, can you elaborate a bit on the rework that will be needed if you implement 9.0 security and then go to 9.0 apps?
We did our "Kickoff" for the FastTrack 9.0 Security this week and have the app upgrade slated for 2nd qtr of 2009.
I had heard of some DB diffs, new forms, etc in 9.0, and during CUE Security presentation I could not get a good answer as to the detail of differences that will need to be accounted for in Security.
I plan on asking that again in our design sessions, but wanted an end user's perspective rather than the consultant we are paying to implement "now" and not looking to the future.

                Thanks
                Dave
