Change Lawson Portal URL Name

Have anyone try changing the Lawson portal name/url to something else so that it won't show the server's information but it'll still point to the same portal place? Thanks

Yes, we used to do this on our older system. Here's how we did it.
Had the tech's configure a DNS alias of whatever we wanted it called - pointing to the actual server.
Give the alias out to the users/public --- You will likely run into issues if you are using DSSO at all. Redo it and point to the alias everywhere. ie LBI- you'll need to even be connected to the alias URL when you run your Installvalidators...
