Is there anyway in 9.0 to know who is logged into Lawson using Portal and RSS. Also is there anyway to send out a global message to all users that are logged in. We are about to go live this week and we had to take the system down yesterday to restart websphere due to a batch EOF error. We had no way to know who was logged in through the portal and no way to let people know to log off. It wasn't too difficult because we knew it was only the implementation team logged in but once we are live we will have users all over the country.

Hi Kate, the short answer is, of course, no--since it's a web application there really is no "state" of being logged in. However, now that LSF9 has SSO there may be a way to figure out who has logged in within the last x minutes and send them a message; but I haven't looked into it, maybe if someone has they can post some more info.
