Sticky Note Functionality in LSO

We are wanting to set up a reminder to put a "N" for automatic time records whenever a new hourly employee is hired in the organization. My first though is using the sticky note but I want to automate this in LSO that whenever a new hire hourly employee is hired it sends us a reminder to enter "N" and was wondering if there are any better ways of doing this.

Please share your thoughts on this.

Actually, the LSO personalization is probably the way to go, e.g., you can create a conditional personalization rule to fill in the 'N' if hire date with nn number of days of today.

Agreed. You'll need to enable personalization in LSO. This is a good approach.
