Add-In not uploading to vendor master maintenance?

We have a user who is trying to do an upload to the vendor master using excel add ins. She has rebuilt her add-in and tried without success.

 

When she runs the upload it states upload complete but the data doesnt add or change, and no results post on the excel spreadsheet.

 

She tried another type of upload just for fun (a journal header) and this one worked fine and updated the spreadsheet with the result.

 

Any thoughts?

Do add-ins / uploads go to a log or error log of some sort that I can check?

I am not familar with that particular form/screen that she is trying to load. But she may be missing a hidden key and thats why its not loading.

Unfortunately no error log to look at

It seems odd that it doesnt at least throw an error or something to let us know.
Instead it just states upload complete, but no results return on the excel spreadsheet.

this knowledge base article talks about how to find the hidden key. This may help you determine if the hidden key is the missing link.

AP10 is pretty straight forward. I don't know of any hidden fields. Can you post the mapping?

Just a thought to throw out there.  We use the Left Column check in our Uploads and if we forget to add a character in there , it will still go through the upload process but will not make any changes or give any error messages/results, exactly as you mentioned in your post.  Might be something to check out.
