Lawson Add-in upload/download errors

We have a remote IOS set-up with apache 2.0/tomcat 4.1, HPUnix 11.11, lawson env 8.0.3 esp5, oracle 10G (installed at the same box where apache/tomcat reside). Our problem with add in when uploading or running queueries is we constantly received the error "The server returned an invalid or unrecognized response" then after clicking ok to continue (on uploads) we eventually get the final message “Return “mesg” line was not found. The Server may not be responding”.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

I have seen this problem before. It does not necessarily mean that AS Addins is installed incorrectly, but may be caused by the way the user defined the query. If you are able to process MS Addin queries without getting this message, assume that the query definition is wrong.

Bill, Thanks for the response. It's possible that the problem is with the queuery, however, we also get that same error when we are uploading data, could be a possible network problem too....

Is everything else associated with IOS working correctly? Is Portal working?
Can you use DME via cgi-lawson? via Servlets?
If all of those are working, it is NOT a network problem.
