LP145

LP145 - Allotment Adjustment Calculation

Run Allotment Adjustment Calculation (LP145) to recalculate previous
allotments given to employees. These adjustments are due factor changes during
the allotment period or by accruals given during the allotment period.

IMPORTANT You must run LP145 regularly. If you run it after an FTE
change from .50 to 1.00, LP145 calculates the additional hours due. However,
if you run LP145 after the FTE change from 1.00 to .50, LP145 will not create
a negative adjustment when run for increases only.
LP145 will adjust for factor changes if there is an LP07 calculation
defined using either the Multiply by or Divide by Factor OR User
Numeric fields and will go to HRHISTORY to find the values in effect as of
the cycle dates within the allotment period.
Because Adjustment Option 2 or 3 will only report transactions that
were created (i.e. only positive or only negative), you may want to run for
adjustment option 1 (adjust all) in report only mode to view all cycles and
see the adjustments that would be created if you wanted to adjust for both
increases and decreases.
Allotment adjustments for factor changes require the following:

- Employees must be in cycle-based (versus hours-based) plans.

- Tables must use calculations with factors.

- All factors used on calculations must be logged to history.
If no the application cannot find history records for any one of the factors,
the allotment recalculation will not be performed. You indicate whether
factors
should be logged to history on Data Item Attributes (HR10.1).

Allotment adjustments for allotments based on accrual amounts received
 require:

- Employees must be in cycle-based (versus hours-based) plan

- On the Allotment tab of Accrual Rule (LP03.2), you must select
3 (Adjust allotment by accrual) in the Relation to Accrual field.

- The cycle frequency of allotments must be the same as the
cycle frequency of accruals.
