LP197 - Absence Plan Close
Run Absence Plan Close (LP197) to close transactions processed by Employee
Absence Plan Calculation (LP140) and Allotment Adjustment Calculation (LP145).
**Processing Effect
Running LP197 will:
- Update transactions processed by LP140 or LP145 to a closed
status.
- Update employee plan master balances; that is, move temporary
balance fields calculated by LP140 or LP145 to permanent balance fields that
can be viewed on Employee Absence Plan Master (LP31.1). Updated fields will
also be logged to history if so indicated on Data Item Attributes
(HR10).
- Update the transaction summary file with transaction amounts
being closed.
- Clear cycle run flags so future LP140 and LP145 jobs can be
run.
- Provide an output report showing hours and earnings balances
for employee plan master records that were updated.
- Provide "restart" logic if program ends abnormally
before successful completion.
