    Need help in understanding and how to fix. PROBLEM: Element not defined on Match Class that's listed on the MA540 Fatal Error Report. Any assistance/guidence with tis will greatly be appreicated. Thanks!

    Match elements are defined in MA00.2. Usually the item number (ITEM) is set as the only match element and then that element is assigned to a Match Class (MA00.3). Without actually seeing the data behind your error I can't be sure but it sounds like you're attempting to match on an element that's not defined in MA00.2.

    Thank you JonA issue resolved. We only have hierarchy 1 setup for element: ITEM. Item # can only be in field 1 on the Item Detail tab (MA54.3). Solution: In the Item Detail tab (MA54.3) removed item# from fields 2-10 and added item to field 1.
