    Hello,

Does your organization schedule any of the following utilities that are delivered in TM within Administrator>Utilities>Data Maintenance?

    *Rebuild Manager Employee Data

    *Generate Manager Org Chart Records

*Rebuild Organization Unit Work Assignment Records

    >If so, what is the frequency of the scheduling?

    >Are there other data maintenance utilities that you run on a consistent basis?

We have encountered issues with inconsistent info displaying on the Organizational Charts as well as the Manager My Staff list and are trying to determine if these utilities will address data inconsistencies with Work Assignment records.

    Thanks for any info!

    Regards.

      Hi there,
We do run the manager utilities twice a week to keep up with the changes that are still occurring from our Go Live. Per one of the consultants that helped us with conversion, there are five utilities that need to run in order.:
      1. Rebuild Manager Employee Data
      2. Rebuild Organization Unit Work Assignment Records
      3. Generate Manager Org Chart Records
      4. Build Manager Name Snapshot
      5. Create Employee Direct Report Records

The Generate Manager Org Chart Records job does disrupt daily business functions, so we run all of these between 1:00 am and 4:30 am on Mondays and Tuesdays, in order to avoid working hours.

This should help keep your data aligned. Also, keep an eye on your async. We've found that, depending on how back dating is used, sometimes the work assignments do not update when a position is updated. I have a TM report built to audit that our default no override fields from the positions, are matching up with the work assignments. If they do not align, I do an LSD upload to get them corrected. I believe the utilities correct this issue, but our managers like to see more immediate results so I take that extra step between utility runs.

      Hope that helps!
