We are having serious latency issues with Lawson displaying the Portal login screen for some of our lower bandwidth&160;Self Service users. In some cases almost 2 minutes before they can enter their credentials. Once in the application the response time is acceptable. I've cleared the IE cache on the client end which speeds things up a bit, but they're still seeing 'portal is initializing' in the status bar for a long time. I need to identify within the Lawson notes on a CTP what tasks/pts we already have in production and what tasks/pts will actually be changed in production on install of this CTP. I was hoping I could download the notes into a CSV file and create a database against which I could perform future searches for this purpose.&160; I haven't found a nice way to download the Lawson CTP notes in any kind of a friendly way.&160; Any suggestions Does anyone out there have a process for this already&1...

Hi - I'm re-installing LSF9 on HP-UX 11.23 PA-RISC. I get halfway through the Core install when I'm prompted to load the lawsec_inst.ldif to my ADAM LDAP. The only problem is, it's crazy looking! Instead of a header reading object classes and attributes for RM metadata, it says 'the delivered Security static functions' and lists a lot of strange DNs like isLeapYear and year0. &160; When installing WAS on HP-UX server, Lawson recommended initial and max heap sizes of 512/1024 produced error messages in ladb.log when WAS started - couldn't attach shared memory segment. When the user access the job-list we get an IOS error as :- 'An error occured outside of IOS while accessing lawson database: The value '/username' is too big for field UserName size 10. We have just upgraded from LSF 9.0.0.3 to 9.0.0.5 and are getting an error on the writeattach and getattach executables when trying to add or view a comment entered on PO20, PO23&160;and AP12 screens. Seems to work fine on RQ screens and HR screens. Lawson has been unable to identify a fix for the issue. We recently changed our AD authentication and did an 'ldapbind' to make this work on our disaster&160;recovery server. Lawson is recycled every night for Oracle and TDS refreshes. When we come in the next day, LDAP has reverted back to the old authentication. Is there a config file that needs to be modified It must be getting the old ldap bind from somewhere.

I had this question asked to me. 'Is Essbase 9.3 available/workinig/certified with LSF9.0' I thought it was replaced by LBI/Dashboard or other products, and that&160;Essbase is no longer available with Lawson.&160;Is this correct -Roger

Hi everyone! LSF9 core technology is installed, but no Portal. Executing smoke test: pfserv test testGroupIOS and getting an error in wuerr file - Data Servlet error: Product Line GEN is not found. Also, another smoke test, at the URL - servlet/Profile_PATH=test, also getting error Product Line GEN is not found. We are about to go live on Unix 9.0 with LS Security, Adam Bound, Websphere, Portal , LBI, RSS etc . Our windows group has just informed us that they are about to retire our current active directory server due to an upgrade for a company wide email project. The steps for enabling this feature are not well-documented, and even if you can find the steps, they won’t work if you’ve installed LSF9 on a fresh server. Here’s how to get it working. Currently, when a employee is termed, we reset their password in Lawson and Active directory. This allows a supervisor to approve time records for direct reports without changing HR11 supervisor for the direct reports. After a month, they are removed from AD, but not from Lawson Security. &160;We currently have a large number of termed users in the Lawson Security Administrator using LAUA.
