Is there a way to write a rule, that looks up a company group and checks the companies attached to compare in value to COMPANY CONTROL?  Example...GL95  allows the usage of company groups, but if a company exists in that group that the user would not have access to, how would a rule be able to be written to prevent that user access?

Brian, you can potentially secure company group on GL95 using an element/element group, and then leverage Company Control and/or getDBField() functions, but it seriously a lot of work. You need to secure all of the forms that open from GL95 (GL96/GL98, etc.).

Would you happen to have an example? The users have created about 125 company groups...I would think you would have to evaluate the selected group, with the company pulled in the data for each record to validate against Company Control to see if the user is allowed access within that group. Or am I thinking of it from the wrong angle?

No, I don't have an example of doing that.
