When a Crystal Report includes a subreport how can you force the LBI bursting to carry through onton the subreport

Does anyone know if it is possible to hide the search box on the right hand side of the dashboard view of LBI We are moving from 8 to 9 and having both the portal search box and the LBI on the right hand side has become confusing. We never use the one in LBI and would be cleaner to just hide it.

Hi, I've got a few crystal reports that are set to open as excel files. however it seems to populate blank rows between the lines of data. I've reduced the line space between the rows in crystal as much as possible. has anyone got any ideas CR XI R2 SP4 LBI 9.0.1.8 Thanks Jon

We are nearing the finish of implementing LBI here in a brand new Lawson setup (version 9.0 for all). We've got everything working up through creating the datacube...almost. Running IA150 will create the .csv's, upload them to the ftp site, and then stop. The installer believes that the issue is that we need to setup IIS on the sql cluster, add the msmdpump.dll, create the application pool, etc, and that should be the end of it. Has anybody accomplished one report executing another crystal report and passing a parameter . I know this can be done by adding an hyperlink to the report and passing a parameter. Can somebody share the excat sysntax after publishing both on lbi.

Hello, I'm developing a Crystal report to be published into LBI.  The report pulls data from Lawson but also from a Kronos database.  I can develop the report in Crystal with both data sources just fine, but my question is - when I publish the report into LBI I currently use the 'Data Settings' tab in the LBI 'Report Settings' screen to override my report's data source.  Our LBI administrators have asked us to do this so they can maintain the data access user-id and password.  However, this ove...

Hello, I've developed a labor distribution report in crystal.  It's grouped by cost center, then employee number beneath that.  When I view the Group Tree in Crystal, the employee number displays with no commas - something I tweaked in the report because it originally displayed with commas - since employee number is numeric. Is there a way I can suppress the display of Instance Name in one of my dashboard report lists  I'd like to display only Report Name and Created Date since that makes more sense to my end users.  However, I'm unable to remove or even change the position of Instance Name in the list of columns to displayed for this report list. I've checked through the Reporting Services and User Guide doc but don't see any way to suppress instance name, unless that ability is undocumented.

Hi, We are running into an interesting dilemma in that we run multiple Lawson environments (20) and multiple LBI servers to service these environments. The dilemma we have run into is that we have the same report, but that it needs to be published using different DSN's many times. Everytime the enviroment changes like right now we are going from LRS to LBI, and later from v8 to v9 of Lawson, we have to change all the DSN's etc. What I am curious of is if there is a generic driver or something ...

We have a bunch of RW reports that are data sources for Crystal.  Crystal is then used to write reports such as balance sheet; income statement etc with the RW as the data source.  Modifications are a huge problem and I am proposing that we rewrite the reports in Crystal going directly to LAWSON data specifically the GLAMOUNTS, GLUNITS and FBDETAIL tables.  Most likely to have a view.  However I have noticed that there a bunch of RW data tables in LAWSON such as RWGRPDET and RWROWDET etc.  Could...

I have reports that I have fixed so that when the report is run in Crystal Designer you get the option to modify those paramaters on the left-hand side of the screen after the report has been refreshed. We are in the process of converting a particular report from 9022 to 9031 that uses the prdistrib table and has been written in oledb. However this report is not completing refreshing and times out after 40 minutes of refreshing. if we break this report to go against a smaller set of data it completes fine. I recently installed the LBI in my Windows 2003 Server. The server box is physically the same as the Lawson LSF/WebSphere. In other words, LSF 9.0.6, WebSphere 6.0.2.17, and LBI EFS 9.0.1.10.154 are all on the same server. DSSO is not installed because they are all in the same server. The LBI/EFS login without any problem if I specified File-based Authentication in the System Configuration Assistant. Does any one know of a small Lawson table that contains valid SUB-ACCT values I'm creating a Crystal Labor Utilization Report to be published into LBI.  In my Crystal sql, I'm trying to find a smaller Lawson table where I can query for a list of valid Sub Accounts.  I have to categorize these sub accounts using logic I'll include in the sql.  I could query PRDISTRIB for a unique list DST-SUB-ACCTs but that table is very large.

I am wondering if anybody has found out a way to get notified whenever a report scheduled to refresh at a particular day and time fails to refresh without going through the log files. On reporting services for maintain schedules the status of success or waiting is not the true status of whether the report refreshed but the status which defines that the handoff for reporting services to CRAS to refresh was successful or not.
