Lawson Portal Security Question

I am very new to Lawson.  I am setting up Manager Self Service and I am having difficulty with the drill down functionality.  I have everything the way I want except for two items. 
1.) I want to be able to block "Employee Groups" option and 2.) Under Absence Plans I want to block the option for "Absence Plan Setup" and I cannot figure out how to do this.  I am trying to do this through Lawson Security.  Can anyone help me with this?  I am really struggling.

We use Lawson Security on Apps v9 so our Portal bookmark set up may be different than yours.  Bookmark administration is covered in chapter 7 of the Lawson Administration Portal manual.  We have all of our ESS users in a Lawson security group.  In Portal Bookmark Manager the ESS Users have access to the Parent ESS Self Service Group.  We have hidden some ESS features by denying access of child bookmark.  The bookmark is still visible to Admnistrators since we allow access to the bookmark by adding a Lawson security group.  I have some print screens if you want to compare notes:  joanna.bledsoe@jhsmh.org
