We have upgraded our test system to the 9.0.1.8 apps and now need to remap the PMTOUT file for Formscape to print payroll checks/receipts. Has anyone else gone through this with Formscape? We are considering creating an xml file and using it but need to find the xml schema (xsd or dtd file). No one here has had any formal training with Formscape so we are struggling with finding the files that are required. So far Lawson support has been no help.
Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Cindy

Hey Cindy, Isn't Formscape a Bottomline product ? When we've gone thru major implementations/upgrades that have effected our Bottomline apps (ie: payroll checks, ap checks, W2's, invoices, etc) we've always paid them to do it. They've always delivered ontime and been very reliable !

What were you using before 9.0.1.8? The PMTOUT file changed drastically between 9.0.0.X and 9.0.1.X. We don't use Formscape but I would think there would be an option in the program to switch which Lawson version you are using so it knows what format to read in. If your formscape install is older as well that might need to be updated to recognize the change.

We are upgrading our apps from 9.0.0.4 to 9.0.1.8. We are currently using Formscape from Botttomline and are mapping the fields ourself. We changed the PR160 code to generate an xml file (not recommended by Lawson) since Formscape has an xml parser which has made the mapping easier than using the standard file format.
