The question was posed to me today regarding how to run pharmacy orders through Lawson that have special pricing through the Federal 340b program. We have 2 hopitals that qualify to participate. This special pricing is granted to patients that are non-Medicaid and non-inpatient. Anyone out there particpating in this and running PO's through Lawson?

You need to set up a revenue center in the PC10 then track the pricing accordingly.

Thanks, but we don't use the PC system (yet). And it's just the supply replenishment that concerns me. The patient charges are handled in Pharmnet. I actually came up with a way to do it. I think it will work. I'm going to create a requesting location, call it 340B for instance. Load pricing in PO25 and make 340B the only participant. Then create a template for the items.
