I worked for an organization who stored information such as badges, keys, credit cards, etc. in the PA system code, EMPCODES table in the TYPE field populated with CP (Company Property).

We do exactly as Georgette explains. Although we don't track credit cards, we do track pcards here. Keys, Software, YMCA memberships, cell phones, etc.

You access this via PA16.1 screen.
