Hi,
Please help me understand where does the acct-amount from gltrans get its value from.
also shouldn't base-amount and acct-amount have same values?
I have 2-3 scenarios where the base amount doesn't equal to the acct-amount.

Split
The acct amount is determined by the currency for the account as specified in the account setup (Gl00.1 - click Accounts(gl00.4) click more, find currency tab.
This is generally used when you have a foreign currency asset or liability (like a CAD bank account for a USD company) where you need to track the account's value in CAD and then revalue it at month end to USD via GL191.
