Hi, Everyone,
We are asked to provide a list of new accounts & new accounting units created during a period of time. However, we do not have auditing features turned on. Is there any way to obtain this list without the auditing feature? Does Lawson stores creation date or update date for Accounts/Accounting units in any tables (other than auditing tables)?
Also, I would like to know if you do not have auditing features turned on, do you use any controls to track creation or changes of new accounts/accounting units?
Thanks!
Anna

Split
Auditing is the only way to do this.
I'm curious why you don't want to turn this on - it's not a major deal and doesn't create major overhead.
With auditing or without, the best control is SEVERELY limiting who can create accounts and accounting units.
That person should have a tough (if not difficult) personality to insure that things get created only when really necessary.
