Vendors: Can you lock down a vendor class

Just curious if its possible, can you lock down changes to a vendor depending on what vendor class it is? For example, if the vendor falls within an Employee Class, our Vendor Setup employee cannot make a change to the record.

Brian,

I do not believe this is possible. Just want to make sure I understand what you are trying to do, you don't want the person that sets up vendors to have the ability to make changes to any vendor on AP10 that is assigned a vendor class = EMP, is that correct?

If you are using Lawson Security 9.0 (not LAUA), you can do it with a rule.
If you are using LAUA, you can do it for portal users with Design Studio, however that would not prevent a change via Addins...
