ESS/MSS and Image Now

We have Lawson's EMSS and ImageNow. We currently use ImageNow for HR document imaging, AP and GL and it is working well, and we link from ImageNow into Lawson. We are inquiring if anyone has set up or attempting to setup a process when a Manager opens SS and is viewing their reporting employees, we can link into that employee's documents in ImageNow. So it's a link from Lawson to ImageNow. Any suggestions on how we could approach this would be appreciated.

Hi Mickey, I work for Perceptive Software and would be happy to help you. There are several ways we can accomplish this through your self service portals. You can add a button to those portals which can either A.) open a webnow link with documentation that the manager or employee has the appropriate permissions to see or B.) the button can kick off a web service call back to ImageNow to return these documents.

The web service functionality can return the documents through your portal without the users even knowing that ImageNow is providing the documentation. It can take on the look and feel of your portal. If you go with option A, they can log into our system to view these documents.
